Clubs

The Ithan Elementary School parent-teacher organization (Ithan PTO) organizes clubs for students in grades K-5.

Registration for all clubs is done through 6crickets.com.  For helpful hints and very IMPORTANT instructions for using 6crickets, view this flyer.  (Pro tip:  Don't skip this step.  Read the flyer!)

Make sure you are signed up for the PTO newsletter to get information on clubs and registration.  We expect registration to take place during the second week of school, but the exact day and time will be announced in the PTO newsletter.

Clubs are typically offered in 3 seasons:  Fall, Winter, and Spring.  Clubs vary by season, but here is a list of clubs that are typically offered at some point during the year.

Art Club	K-5th	Students will experience and enjoy the creative process of art with Ms. Agatone.
After School Sports	3rd-5th	Join Mr. Miller in a fun, non-competitive, group sports program.
Chess Club	1st-5th	Learn how to play the game of chess in this exciting program, ranging from learning the rules of chess to exploring tournament strategies.
Hip Hop	1st-5th	Any level of student can learn new and old Hip Hop dance moves during this fun and high energy class.
Drama Club	3rd-5th	Students work on the fundamentals of drama while preparing a scripted performance for the end of the session.
Rad Robots Club	K-5th	Students develop computational thinking skills while engaging in fun robotic challenges.
Running Club	1st-5th	This club which promotes enthusiasm for running and gives students an opportunity to participate in an after school fitness program. Students will run approx. 1-1.5 miles each week and play some great games to keep them moving.
Spanish Club	1st-5th	This immersion style Spanish Club includes interactive language lessons incorporating games, music, activities, singing and crafts.
Spelling Bee Club	3rd-5th	Students meet weekly to practice and learn new words. The club culminates with a School Spelling Bee where the two winners advance to the Delaware County Bee.
STEM CLUB	1st-5th	Join Mr. Hirt in a fun, hands on, STEM Club.
Yoga Club	K-5th	Students will build enthusiasm for yoga and have an opportunity to participate in a before school fitness program.
